About This Route

Vor Wochen scheiterte diese Tour an einer Panne in Kronach und einem ausgerissenen Ventil in Wallenfels. Heute klappt es – nicht zuletzt dank »Marathon Plus« – ohne Problem.

Heute ist es recht kühl, aber trocken, und der Wind behält den ganzen Tag über seine Hauptrichtung bei. Bis Schnappenhammer und weiter ins Lamitztal war mir die Strecke schon von der Tour des ADFC KC bekannt. Der folgende Anstieg nach Wolfengrün und die Abkürzung ins Langenautal waren heute die eigentliche Aufgabe (gut, wäre ich rechterhand bis Geroldsgrün gefahren, wären die 120 km bestimmt voll geworden).

Zusätzlich zur Durchfahrt Mauthaus umrunde ich mal wieder die Ködeltalsperre. An der Rampe vom Parkplatz werden sämtliche Wasserrinnen »verflacht«, gleichzeitg aber vor der »Lebensgefahr« für Inliner gewarnt. Scheinbar ist ein solcher ungespitzt in die geschlossene Schranke gerauscht.
