About This Route

Von der Mündung bis nach Bischofsgrün ist der Weiße Main schön zu begleiten. Die Radwege sind überwiegend gut befahrbar bei moderater Steigung. Die Ausschilderung ist allerdings stellenweise ziemlich dürftig.

Ab Bischofsgrün wird es abenteuerlich, nicht nur wegen der deutlichen Steigung. Viele Wege führen zur Quelle, allerdings meistens Wanderwege bis hin zu unweg-samen Pfaden. Für Radfahrer ist es mangels eindeutiger Ausschilderung sehr schwierig, den geeigneten Weg auf fast 890 Meter Höhe zu finden.
