this route is a  fun ride if you like to go fast. a 10 speed works best  but i ride a single speed fixed gear and its comfortable. using beardsley road is better than lake pleasant parkway for a few reasons there is less traffic on beardsley and theres less glass and hazzards in the bike lanes i ride this route 5 days a week to and fro i feel its the safer between riding down union hills with no bike lane and lake pleasant parkway . however after hours lake pleasant parkway is decent
