(Update August 2013) On this stage we go from the Sierra de la Demanda to the valley of the Arlanza River. Alternative 2: Route: Vizcainos, Barbadillo del Mercado, Contreras, La Revilla, Villanueva de Carazo, Santo Domingo de Silos, Retuerta. Departure: Barbadillo de Herreros. End of stage: Covarrubias Overnight: Camping at Covarrubias Football Field. Points of interest: Gorge of the Pedroso River, Romanesque Church of Vizcainos, Mountain Chimneys, Cañón del Mataviejas and Desfiladero de la Yecla, Monastery of Santo Domingo de Silos, Covarrubias - village with national historical-artistic ensemble.
