About This Route

Sehr sehr anstrengende Tour vom Faaker See über Latschach Richtung Kopein oder (wie beim Rückweg) über die MTB Strecke über Ledernitzen. Von Kopein führt eine Forststraße hinauf, anfangs kurz noch mit mäßigen Steigungen, dann wird diese immer steiler und ab dem Parkplatz vor dem Schranken ist ordentliche Kondition erforderlich. Es geht serpentinenförmig bergauf mit oftmals harte Steigungen. Auf der Bertahütte (bewirtschaftet) wird man belohnt von einer schönen Aussicht zum Mittagskogel, den man mit 2 h Gehzeit auch noch besteigen kann. Gesamte Höhenmeter Aufstieg laut Garmin GPS: 1141 Hm (Berechnung bikemap.net stimmt nicht).
