Ruszamy z miejscowości Cavalese w Val di Fiemme. Pierwszy 12km odcinek to łatwa, raczej płaska ścieżka rowerowa, która prowadzi nas do Predazzo. 2km za miastem docieramy do stacji narciarskiej. Na krzesełku, pokonujemy 1100m w pionie. Dalej to już tylko szutrówki i łatwe ścieżki leśne, na około masywu Latemar. Dociemary do jeziora i miejscowości Carezza. Stamtąd, po 600m podjeździe , zabieramy się za szybki znazd do miejscowości Moena, gdzie będziemy spać i skąd będzie się zaczynać kolejny etap.
