Ride to Caves

This route is mainly paved and smooth, but there are some parts that are gravel and rough. It has some hilly spots, but it's not bad at all. It's mainly MCT Confulence Trail, until your get to the Clark bridge. Once you go under the bridge keep on the small road that leads you to the Argosy Casino. Be careful and watch your surroundings, once your off the MCT trail their are cars everywhere so be very aware. When you get through the Argosy Casino parking lot and come to W Broadway you will have to share the road for a bit with the cars. Make sure you wear proper saftey equipment when you bike, deffinetely when you are riding in the streets and in high traffic areas. I love this route, there are plenty of place to go to in downtown Alton. The Alton Caves are fun to explore and in the summer time it's a perfect place to escape the hot sun for a bit.
