About This Route

Route 12 - as the roads between Calabardina and Cartagena are hilly and narrow with no alternative safe options, we recommend catching the train from Aguilas to Cartagena. As there are no direct trains, you need to take the train from Aguilas to Murcia (90 min journey; check www.renfe.com for updates as train doesn’t operate daily) and from there travel with the Regional train to Cartagena (50 min).
