About This Route

A quiet route to route over the wolds through many pretty villages. Starting off on the old DVLR railway track to Osbaldwick. On quiet roads to Buttercrambe, on towards Malton but turn right a the staggered crossroads to Langton.  At North Grimston, there is a very hard climb. Just as you think you have got to the top, take the road to the left to Duggleby once at the top of this climb, pause to take a look back over the Vale of York. Next village is Kirby Grindalythe, West and East Lutton, Helperthorpe, Weaverthorpe, Butterwick. Straight on at the staggered cross roads ove the B1249 to Wold Newton. Straight on to Burton Fleming. In this village, make sure you take the road to Grindale. In another three miles, about a mile on the A165 and your in Bridlington.
