About This Route

Raßnitzer- und Wallendorfer See am westlichsten Zipfel der Leipziger Auenlandschaft erreicht man bequem über den Elsterradweg. Zwischen den beiden ehemaligen und nun rekultivierten Tagebauen gelangt man nach Wallendorf, wo sich im historischen Weinkeller rasten lässt. Zurück geht es dann entlang des Salzstrasse-Radwanderweges. Diese Naturrunde läßt sich prima in östlicher Richtung über den Elsterradweg erweitern.
