About this route
Am Ufer des Lac de St.Point geht die FahrtÂ ĂŒber kleine StraĂen nach Mouthe (guter BĂ€cker an der Kirche) und dann auf langem AnstiegÂ ĂŒber 1260 m ins VallĂ©e de Joux. Auf der Westroute sieht man vom See fast nichts bis Le Rocheray. Das langgezogene Tal ist auch fĂŒr eine gemĂŒtliche Rundtour geeignet. Hinter la Cure beginnt der rund 3 km lange Anstieg auf 1250 m Höhe. Die restlichen 10 km zum Col de la Faucille sind ziemlich eben. Von der Passhöhe bietet sich in der Nachmittagssonne eine herrliche Aussicht ĂŒber den Genfer See zum Mont Blanc. Dann steile Abfahrt nach Gex (! warm anziehen! )
