About This Route

Die Route des Monats März 2010 heißt "Die 8“ und verläuft auf ebenen und vorwiegend asphaltierten, in kurzen Abschnitten auch auf befestigten, gut befahrbaren Wirtschaftswegen. Start und Ziel befinden sich entweder in Welver-Kirchwelver oder in Lippetal-Heintrop. Sie kann auch abschnittsweise befahren werden, dann ist die Streckenlänge nahezu „halbiert“. Hierzu muss die Verbindung Hultrop-Lippborg genutzt werden. Zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten, zum Beispiel der Sängerhof in Dinker, die Burg Vellinghausen oder das Schloss Hovestadt machen die Route besonders interessant.
