About This Route

The woods are situated next to the golf course on the north side of Kingussie. Start from Ardvonie car park (behind the Duke of Gordon Hotel). Leave the car park and turn left. Follow the road up hill. Just after St. Vincents Hospital turn right across the footbridge over the Gynack Burn. Turn left on the tarmac road and follow this with the woods on the right and the river on the left. Turn right at the entrance to the woods. Paths go to right and left and the road carries on to a water treatment reservoir at the top of the hill. Choose any way and explore the network of paths in the woods.
