About this route
Lübeln, Satemin, Jeetzel. Das Wendland ist bekannt für seine Rundlinge. Dörfer, in denen Menschen ihre Häuser in einer runden Anordnung gebaut haben. Nur ein Weg führt hinein und auch wieder hinaus. Jedes Dorf hat seine Geschichte und seinen Platz – zum Verweilen und zum Klönen. Wunderschöne alte Fachwerkhäuser, jedes einzigartig und meist liebevoll restauriert, machen den Charme dieser Dörfer aus. Und die Menschen, die darin wohnen. Noch immer ist der Ursprung dieser Dorfform rätselhaft. Im Freilichtmuseum Wendlandhof Lübeln wird die Geschichte der Rundlinge und das Leben und Arbeiten der Menschen vor rund 200 Jahren an 18 Erlebnisstationen wieder lebendig.
