Die Sieg hat sich teilweise ihre Ursprünglichkeit erhalten, zeigt an anderen Stellen jedoch auch die Industriegeschichte der Region. Waldreiche Höhenzüge und Wiesentäler laden zum Radwandern ein. Auf dem Weg liegen beschauliche Fachwerkdörfer, Burgen und Industriestandorte, deren Geschichte bis weit in das Mittelalter zurückreicht.
