About This Route

Die Route führte von Fuzine über Lic nach Lukovo, auf ca. 900 m über dem Meeresspiegel, durch urwüchsigen Mischwald. Selten lockt ein einfaches Gartenlokal zur Einkehr. Irgendwo nach Lukovo lichtet sich der Wald und weicht einer kargen Berglandschaft mit weiten Blicken über die Kvarner Bucht und auf die mondähnlichen Inseln Krk, Cres und Rab. Die starke Ora bläst regelmäßig von der Adria über die Hochebene und lässt nur niedrige Büsche und Bäume wachsen. Wo in anderen Regionen Europas Kühe weiden, grasen hier oben Wildpferde. Weiter geht es über Krmpotici, Butorci, Rupa, Krivi Put, immer auf 700 - 900 Meter Höhe entlang der Küstenlinie, zum Vratnik Pass und zur Kanoba Putnik.

Am 3. Tag geht es weiter von Vratnik über Melnice, Vrzici, Hrvatsko Polje nach Otocac.
