About this route
Morigerati is a small medieval village whose origin is traced back to a settlement of Basilian monks. The municipality is known for the WWF oasis, where the resurgence of the Bussento River is located near the caves of the oasis. This excursion offers you a mix of sea and mountain.
Our excursion starts cycling from Policastro to reach the small medieval village of Morigerati where we will discover the WWF Oasis 'Bussento Caves'.

Program: Departure with regional train 2425 at 08:57 from Centola station and arrival at Policastro Bussentino station at 09:16.
Return from Policastro Bussentino with regional train 2432 at 17:03 arriving in Centola at 17:15.
Purchase tickets for the Centola-Policastro Bussentino and Policastro Bussentino-Centola routes.
Entrance to the oasis costs 5 euros per person.
Packed lunch.
