The opening stage of the 2016 Giro d'Italia is a 9.8 km individual time trial around the Dutch city of Apeldoorn. From the Onisportcentrum (indoor velodrome) in the east to the Paleis Het Loo (royal palace) in the west, this is a fast route along the city's tree-lined boulevards.

 

Die erste Etappe des Giro d'Italia 2016 ist eine 9,8 km lange Einzelzeitfahrt durch die niederländische Stadt Apeldoorn. Vom Omnisportcentrum (Radrennbahn) im Osten bis zum Paleis Het Loo (Königspalast) im Westen ist dies eine rasante Einstiegsroute durch die Alleen der Stadt.
