Tulln (AT) to Melk (AT)

This route departs the Danube, but takes a similiar quality cycleway through Sankt Pölten instead. The last leg is to a bed and breakfast, just up the road from the old Melk village. It is unnecessary, to do this last climb, by turning left at the roundabout at the bottom of the hill. Instead, just head straight at that roundabout, until you hit the river and then turn left - that route will be a lot more level and you will end up at the old town, anyway.
