About This Route

Begin your route by riding east on 36th Street to Bryant Avenue South. Go left on Bryant and take that past Lake street to the entry to the Greenway Trail. You will ride the Greenway Trail all the way to the Mississippi River (at Hiawatha use the Sabo bridge or cautiously cross at the crosswalk). Once at West River Parkway, go left (north). There is a nice bike path along the river road. Take this to the exit for Franklin Avenue. Go up the ramp to the left to get to the Franklin Avenue bridge. Go right and cross over the Mississippi River. On the St. Paul Side go left on East River Road. Follow the river to Harvard Street SE and go right. Take Harvard Street until it turns into Beacon and veers left. Follow Beacon for a block to Union and your destination.
