從宜蘭運動公園出發，途經員山鄉（本地最有名就的是魚丸米粉）一路緩慢爬升，平路段坡度莫約2%左右，最後會來到往雙連埤的爬坡段，距離約6公里，平均坡度約6~7％。接著一路往深山內探訪，終點為福山植物園管制站，距離約6公里，平均坡度約4%。回程途經野夫炊煙，可在此喝杯咖啡，享受山林悠閒。
