Strengen brygge var et viktig knutepunkt fĂžr kanalen ble bygd, nĂ„ er det ern fredelig og flott idyll som egner seg godt for en rast. PĂ„ veien passerer man de to Ăžverste sluseanleggene i Telemarkskanslen, Hogga og Kjeldal, og turen gĂ„r ogsĂ„ pĂ„ den gamle steinsattveien “Murane” helt ned mot kanalen.
