Wer nur Asphalt fahren möchte (Rennrad), sollte den Waldweg R31 umfahren (siehe Karte). Wer eine schöne Aussicht haben möchte, kann zwischen "A" und "B" bei Hof Kökelsum den roten Pfosten folgen und kommt dann wieder auf den Rundkurs (Achtung: das macht etwa 3km mit Steigungen zusätzlich).
