About This Route

We left town and went up to Peanut Lake and took the Lower Loop Trail.  The Lower Loop is rocky single track.  We went up to Gunsight Pass Bridge and took the trail up to Slate River Road.  We went past the Oh Be Joyful Campgound.  We crossed several cattle guards and kept going on Slate River Road.  The road is unpaved and we had to watch out for cows and rocks.  We turned around at Pittsburg and we took Slate River Road all the way back to the short highway ride to town.  We went back to Peanut Lake and did the Lower Loop again.  Then we rode home.
