Matsch hat jedoch vieles, wenn man in diesem Tal mit offenen Augen unterwegs ist: z.B. die Kirche am Eingang des Dorfes im sehr steilen Gelände. Protzig steht sie da genauso wie die Matscher selbst … Jedoch ist dieses Völkchen als hart, ehrlich und echt im Volksmund bekannt. Kleines Detail am Rande: Matsch ist das Dorf mit der höchsten Geburtenrate in Südtirol.
