Traseul pleaca din Sebes, urca pe Transalpina pana in apropiere de Lacul Oasa unde face dreapta pe Valea Prigoanei pana in luncile cu acelasi nume.Apoi traseul urca in pasul Poarta si coboara urmarind fidel DJ 704 pana in Cugir. Pe harta este indicat gresit traseul deoarece nu recunoaste o portiune de drum din coada lacului Canciu...

Portiunea neasfaltata are cam 65-70 km. Traseul se face intr-o zi cu tot cu pauze.
