Route highlights

Points of interest along the route

  1. Drinking water after 18.1 km

turn left along Marsh St footpath/shared cycleway to if you want to get to Botany Bay via remainder of Cooks R Bay to Bay cycleway.

  2. Point of interest after 18.4 km

Marsh St footpath is quite narrow, has signs prohibiting bicycles, and always has pedestrian traffic (to/from Intl Terminal) who usually are lugging bags etc.,. Road is better option, or the northern route thru tempe park

  3. Drinking water after 41.1 km

Cooks River cycleway runs west along the northern bank of Cooks River from here to Homebush Bay.

  4. Point of interest after 41.6 km

The easier route is the northern option through Tempe Park. This has been closed for some months due to Water Board works and is the main reason I chose the southern route to Marsh St on the city bound leg.
