About This Route

Von der Stadt Ybbs ein Stück den Ybbsfluss hinunter bis zur Donau. Diese am rechten Ufer bis Pöchlarn. Die Erlauf entlang flussaufwärts durch Wieselburg bis Purgstall.

Nun geht es westwärts über Feichsen nach Steinakirchen am Forst. Durch viele kleine Ortschaften führt der Weg weiter nördlich nach Neumarkt an der Ybbs und schließlich zum Ausgangsunkt in Ybbs.

Durchwegs Asphalt, mit wenigen Schotterpassagen, besonders im landschaftlich schönsten Teil neben der Erlauf zwischen Wieselburg und Purgstall.
