特徴：

千葉市東部、大網白里市西部、東金市西部、八街市南端を周遊する、東金崖線と呼ばれる変化に富んだ、風光明媚な地域を周遊する。

接続：

このルート「湖水を巡る」は、「御成街道を行く」ルートの終点である《八鶴湖》および途中の《滝台》で接続する。また、「山田IC」の側道の細道を通って①「若葉ルート」の富田さとにわ耕園に行く、②「いずみルート」の泉自然公園に行くことができる。

●小西正法寺と金谷郷を結ぶ短縮ルートあり。
