Start am Anger auf Asphalt mit Durchfahrt durch den Saalbahnhoftunnel. Gleich hinter Grießbrücke nach links über den großen Parkplatz abbiegen, und schon hat man den Jenzig im Blickwinkel.

Anstregender und steiler Berg am Anfang (Jenzig - Durchfahrt nur für geübte/der Rest schiebt), dann ein wenig Cross durch den Wald mit einigen Abfahrten und Anstiegen. Durchfahrt auch am insgesamt höchsten Punkt Jena´s. Anschließend meist Asphalt bis zum Ziel mit Fahrt durch Wogau.
