About This Route

<span style="font-size: small;"><font color="#000000"><font face="Calibri">This route will take you from the 129 Metro Bus route to the main campus center of Park University in Parkville, MO via the most direct route.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>The path follows a bike trail laid out on the side of Missouri Highway 45 otherwise known to locals as 64<sup>th</sup> street.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>You’ll proceed west on the bike path until you take a left hand turn on a paved sidewalk in the Riss Lake Subdivision.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>You’ll ride along that for a few minutes then you will come to a road that appears to be blocked off.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>Don’t worry though it is only closed to motor traffic you and your bike are allowed, especially if you’re a Park University student.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>The path is gravel and can be a little choppy but really isn’t anything like ridding a true dirt trail.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>Follow this path past the soccer fields and the baseball stadium to a fork in the road.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>If you turn right you can go to the dorms, if you proceed straight and then right you’ll pop out of a lovely wooded drive right next to the former observatory.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>From the observatory you can take the little walking path right down to center of the campus where there is a bike rack for locking up your bike.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  The mile conversion is 3.5 miles from the 5.7 kilometers</span></font></font></span>
