Drobeta Turnu-Severin - Vama Veche (Southern Romania)

Trip through Southern Romanian Plain and Dobruja, made in July. It is quite hot in this period, temperatures normally reaching over 35°C during the daytime. Long roads without much level differences in the Plain, low traffic and good asphalt. Dobruja is more diverse in terrain, with lots of climbs and descents. It is route that intersects the EuroVelo 6, passing through a few ports at the Danube RIver, a few cities and mostly villages. We had a tent so there was no need for accomodation, however we did sleep 1 night at the Dumbraveni Monastery.
