About This Route

Start Assawompset School, Rt. 105, Lakeville, MA

SCENIC NOTES: This ride goes through an area of lakes, ponds, cranberry bogs, woods and farms and is a great fall ride. Spin along the shore of Assawompset Pond, then between Great and Little Quittacas Ponds. Although we can no longer circle the New Bedford Watenryorks, we can cross the New Bedford Reservoir to the village of Long Plain (note the local history museum). The long loop heads into Carver, curving around many cranberry bogs (careful on the turns or you might get very wet!). All loops return on the causeway between Great Quittacas Pond and Pocksha Pond.
