About This Route

Die Strecke verläuft weitestgehend abseits von Verkehrsstraßen auf Asphalt oder befestigten Wegen. Eine lohnende Runde, da sie fast nur durch Grünzüge, Wald und Felder führt. Wer Zeit mitbringt, kann am Horstmarer See eine Baderunde einlegen - oder einen Stop am Strandcafé machen. Bevor man vom Kanal wieder Richtung Lünen Süd fährt, findet man auch noch eine Möglichkeit zum Rasten, wenn es am See zu voll sein sollte. Andere Einkehrmöglichkeiten findet man nach der Überquerung der A2 (auf Lünener Seite) links die Straße rein (Gststätte mit großem Kinderspielplatz dabei) oder am Kurler Wald (Mowwe - rotes Haus).
