Point of Interest

Kotor - in 1805 Joseph's regiment moved here shortly, but soon after the Treaty of Pressburg (26.12.1805) they moved back to Ljubljana

Zadar - With The Treaty of Luneville (on 9 February 1801) The War of the second coalition was over, as far as Austria was concerned. With the same peace treaty, Dalmatia became a part of Austria, so Joseph's regiment I.R.43 moved to Zadar in Dalmatia in the spring of 1801. Several peaceful years laid ahead for the regiment, Joseph's dauther Marie was born here. The regiment moved to Kotor in 1805.
