About This Route

Nachdem wir den Vormittag noch in Boston verbracht hatten, ging es entgegen der Bewegungsrichtung der meisten anderen Fahrzeuge in Richtung Cape Code. Nachdem Hurrican Earl bereits am Abend zuvor weiter heruntergestuft wurde, machten wir uns auch überhaupt keine Sorgen, dass uns da was bevorstehen wird. Um es vorweg zu nehmen, wir haben den Sturm einfach verschlafen.

Die Strecke nach Cape Code unternahmen wir vor allem auf Landstraßen. Sehr schöne Gegend mit vielen großen Villlen am Straßenrand und alles dicht bewaldet und immer mal wieder einen Blick auf den Ozean oder ein anderes Gewässer.
