About This Route

Der "normale" Rennsteig Radweg liegt mit seinen Anfangs- und Endpunkten verkehrstechnisch nicht gut. Wenn man mit der Bahn zum/vom Rennsteig fährt, ist es besser in Eisenach zu starten und das letzte Stück wegzulassen und stattdessen nach Coburg zu fahren.

Die Strecke ist in drei Etappen aufgeteilt. Jeweils eine Übernachtung in Tambach/Dietharz und Masserberg.
