Der Rennsteig, von Bad Blankenburg nach Neuhaus/ Rennsteig und dann immer auf dem ausgeschilderten Radweg Rennsteig entlang bis Hörschel und dann nach Eisenach. Am besten man fährt die Tour in diese Richtung, da die Anstiege sonst lang und die Abfahrten kurz und steil sind. Highlights waren der Große Beerberg und der Große Inselsberg mit jeweils knapp 1000,00m Höhe.
