About This Route

Ausflugsrunde auf Radwegen, Fahrwegen und ruhigen Nebenstraßen um die Insel Potsdam. Dabei wechselt der Belag zwischen Asphalt, Betonplatten und festem Kiesweg etwa zu gleichen Teilen. Zwei kurze Kopfsteinpflasterpassagen sind auch enthalten. Ich empfehle eine Reifenbreite von 28 mm oder mehr. Start und Ziel ist am Hauptbahnhof Potsdam. Wahlweise kann auch am S-Bahnhof Griebnitzsee, S-Bahnhof Wannsee oder Bahnhof Werder gestartet werden. Im Bereich des Neuen Gartens und des Babelsberger Parks muss man am Wochenende mit vielen Spaziergängern rechnen. An der Eisenbahnbrücke über den Templiner See muss man das Rad über 2 Treppen tragen. Dafür hat man oben auf der Brücke eine schöne Aussicht.
