Remnant of King's Causeway, constructed around 1527 for King James V, for his pilgrimage to the shrine of St Duthac in Tain . Here at NH 7665 7797 is a turf covered track 5.2 m wide flanked by ditches and revetted with stone.
The King’s Bridge, probably associated with the King’s Causeway which ran to Tain and was built around 1527 for King James V who regularly made pilgrimages there to the shrine of St Duthac.
