Not so shiny now!

A route along paths, virtually car free roads and tracks.  Close to the start is a 'known to locals only' path alongside the River Almond.  It is a bit narrow in places so take your time and look out for dog walkers.  It only lasts for a few hundred metres.  Included is a very short section where I took to my feet to walk to the top of Mons Hill (119 metres) which is the high point in Dalmeny Park.  A bit undulating but any uphill is very short indeed and should present no problems.
