About This Route

This is a pretty short mtb tour, starting at Dagon Winery (dagon.ro), where you can taste some of the local wines they make. But the route has some steep sections, so if you travel with kids, make sure you have something to tow them. Keep in mind that this tour has to be made when the terrain is dry. There is quite a lot of offroad and the surface is not bike friendly when wet. Also the last km of the last descend, from km 17 to 18, you ride through private property and at the end, you will exit to asphalt road (DC 152), through the property's main gate. We found it open, but we were probably lucky. This gate was not here at the beginning of 2021 (when Google Earth made the street view picture), so it's very new, now that we found it in march 2021. While riding on the hills, among vineyards, there are no fences or gates you have to cross. So you don't realize when you enter this property.
