About This Route

Not a fantastically scenic route, with much of the ride dominated by suburban housing and a long stretch down Bristol Road. I used it mainly as a way to get in a first bout of practice.

However, the road running past Bartley Reservoir provides a peaceful view, and it was lovely and sunny when I was out. The route is also aesthetically pleasing when arriving at Lickey. This provides both a gruelling uphill struggle, but rewards with a fantastic chance to fly down Rose Hill.
