About This Route

<span style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;" lang="EN-US">For altitude training. Not too steep.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Starting in Cuenca at 2500 up to Tres Cruces Cajas at 4160 metres. Steady climb, some flats. Total time, depending obviously on your capabilities is 3 to 4 hours to the top. Allow a good hour to get back. It can be very monkey’s (i.e. cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey ) up there, and it can rain hard. Carry a big bin liner for emergencies. Put it on under your wind cheater or shirt if you get caught in rain bla bla. Makes all the difference. Don’t forget to cut holes for head and arms before you leave. </span>
