About This Route

I cycled from Paderborn via Detmold, Bad Pyrmont (Hilly), then along Weser (flat), then via Verden to Rothenburg an der Wumme, then direction Hamburg (hilly), Lübeck (flat) to Fernmarn, and Denmark, Copenhagen (flat). To cross the straits between Main Island (copenhagen) and Odesnse. The Railway must be used. The route shown here is not quite correct, as I used railwayx between Slagelse and nyborg. Hioghlights were, obviously, Hamburg, Lübeck, and Copenhagen. Trip took approx 12 days, and included a few days of heavy downpurs of rain. This is the problem when you cycle in summbetter than a navier months. May and end of September are usually the best periods to cycle- I am 100 procent handicapped, and cycled some of the route without a map, from Puttgarten to Copenhagen.
