Skiddaw U3A ride Solway Firth loop start and finish from Aikton

Start from The Aikton Arms car park, head North to Little Bampton then West to Whampool, Whitrigg, Anthorn, Cardurnock, Bowness-on-Solway (coffee stop at the Ice Cream & Coffee Shack at Hunter Leisure, Bowness House Farm), continuing onto Port Sunlight, Drumburgh, Burgh by Sands, (then head North) towards King Edward 1st Monument and then South to Beaumont (picnic lunch stop at the Beaumont village green next to St Mary's Church) and then onto Kirkandrews-on-Eden, continue heading South to Moorhouse, Gteat Orton, and then heading West to Wiggonby and on to return to Aikton and The Aikton Arms.
