About This Route

A circuit from Mother of Ducks Lagoon to Little Llangothlin Lagoon. Llangothlin rd on the opposite side of the railway to the highway is a paved an almost traffic-free ride. The 6 km section of the highway, has either a shoulder of overtaking lane so is reasonably safe to ride although a bit narrow on the corner before Tubbamurra Rd turnoff. We did during lockdown was very quiet. Tubbamurra and Bago Rd also very quiet. Both lagoons have nice picnic areas, toilets, take binoculars for birdwatching. All quiet roads on the way back into Guyra.
