Hi Bike Mappers! We love to tandem. We currently do mostly road cycling, but are starting to do a little more gravel as Pinchy (our tandem) will allow. We bike tour and are moving (slowly) into bike packing. Why do we tandem? Well, it depends on which of us you ask. Me - I can't keep up with my Husband on a solo bike. Him - I don't pay attention enough and must be contained (ex. When he says "driveway!" I'm usually saying "bluebird!"). It's been a great way for us both to have fun rides.

This isn't as bad as it seems. Gradual but steady ascent on hard pack dirt road. Gravel tires recommended. Must have climbing legs. Fast decent, be careful. Worth the effort.
