8-day cycling tour from St. Malo to Mont Saint Michel. A leisurely bike ride along one of the most beautiful sections of the Breton coast (Emerald Coast) from St. Malo to Mont St. Michel and back to St. Malo. This 'Wonder of the Western World' has also been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Brittany is surely the most diverse corner of western France. Wild, rocky coastlines with cliffs shaped by wind and sea, stacked boulders and capes alternate rapidly with sandy coves. In between are cozy fishing villages with typical granite architecture. There is much old and ancient to discover in Brittany - megalithic structures, countless menhirs and dolmens, castles and palaces. The huge tidal differences create the two so different faces at low and high tide. Culinary delights include scallops, oysters, crêpes, and galettes. Brittany is not a land of mass tourism. At certain times of the year, you will have many of the small side roads almost to yourself, ideal for cycling.
