Crémieu

A usual mix of woodland trails interrupted by a descent ending with a very technical hairpin and a descent using the passage of a large step..

A lesser-known section of the Isle Crémieu with the crossing of the Woods of Traversa, Chaugnieux, and Plantiman, after the climb to the village of Moras, we finish with the DH of the Source of the Truppes which can prove to be very slippery! !

Nice hike departing from Crémieu. Few kilometers but enough to tire the calves with a beautiful succession of climbs, sometimes quite steep. Very few resting areas.

The famous aviators' trail. An outing full of typical passages of the Isle Crémieu plateau, singles in a boxwood tunnel, steep drops on the Lauzes slabs, and challenging sections! RIP little Canadians.

From Crémieu, parking center, to Chatelan in a loop. Circuit of 30 kilometers and 750 D+ / D-. This ride requires good MTB basics with some knowledge in DH. Not suitable for beginner circuits or for getting back in shape!

Inspired by a track from Lyon Topo VTT, this itinerary showcases hidden singles and challenging DH sections, particularly at PK 11.5 (DH de Vernas) which absolutely require walking (on an MTB it's a guaranteed trip to the morgue!!). Apart from that, it’s purely pleasurable!!

A succession of very stony and sometimes very tight DHs (DH from the chapel of La Salette), interspersed with relentless and exhausting accelerations if the terrain is wet!!

The climbs and descents follow one another. Stunning aerial views over the plain and particularly of Crémieu from the castle.
